 Our Story

We are Emiliano and Keri Palustre (EKP). We poured our first candles in 2014 in our kitchen in Long Beach, California. At that time we were turning cool wine bottles that we collected had into candles.  I mean, who doesn't love candles? Over the next few months, we refined and perfected our process, and started attending local arts fairs, where their candles flew off the shelves. Soon enough I (Keri) was able to leave my office job to make candle-making my full-time obsession, while Emiliano refined his glass cutting skills so he could hand-cut and polish each and every upcycled bottle. We sold our candles in shop and at art fairs around Southern California and also made candles for a handful of wineries across the country. In 2023, we relocated to the North Texas area, hoping to expand in to the Texas art scene and find new retailers to carry our products. After almost 10 years of making candles from upcycled bottles, Emiliano decided to retire from the cutting and polishing business and focus on his corporate career. I am still loving making candles in beautiful containers from our new home candle studio in Plano, Texas.

Our Candles

We use all-natural soy wax produced from American-grown soy beans. Soy burns clean and lasts long, but its greatest advantage is that it is completely renewable. Our soy wax contains no toxins, carcinogens or pollutants, which means it’s less likely to trigger allergies. Because soy wax contains no petroleum, it burns clean, with no soot residue.

Our wax is scented with memorable candle fragrances that are infused with natural essential oils. With scents ranging from floral and fresh to musky and earthy, we’ve got the perfect candle for every nose!
